It is universal dual powered which means it can be run by batteries or hardwired with battery backup. It also is universal because you have the choice of 7 day programming, 5/1/1 day programming or non-programmable. These options are installer selectable.The White Rodgers 1F97-1277 Touchscreen Room Thermostat is very convenient and easy to use. It includes a large 12-square-inch touchscreen display and extra large touch keys for easy operation. For your convenience a programmable fan, circulator fan cycling and an automatic daylight saving option are also included. There is also audio confirmation of your touchscreen entries so you know exactly what you have selected at any time.
The White Rodgers 1F97-1277 Touchscreen Room Thermostat meets energy star specifications. It also includes patented cool saving which means the thermostat saves energy during peak A/C demand periods. Also featured are remote sensing indoor or outdoor and a service indicator that tells you if you need to call an HVAC service contractor for repairs.
