Order was fulfilled accurately and without issue. Had an electrician come for the wiring. It's a popular unit so he had installed it before, liked it, suggested proper placement and it was working in no time. 20 x 25 space with 9 foot ceilings gets warm quickly and stays comfortable. I have it close to a central work area in the garage and it's even warm enough to prime & paint stuff without uneven drying or other issues. I have a 480 sq ft uninsulated garage/wood shop. After extensive research on the web, I selected the NewAir G73. It is surpassing my expectations. Recently, I installed a 60,000 BTU propane heater in my Dad's 750 sq ft uninsulated garage/shop so I was concerned that this 19000 BTU unit would be enough heater. Living in the Pacific NW, the avg outdoor low temps throughout much of the year is between 40-50 degrees. So far, this unit has had no trouble keeping the shop comfortable. The fan noise is not unpleasant. Installation was easy. I would recommend this unit. October 30, 2010

A good solution to heat our garage We purchased the heater in 12/11 to heat our 19 x 22 ft. garage. The winter temperatures had been moderate compared to the last couple years. Our family was coming home for the holidays and we installed a dart board, small basketball goal and ping pong table in the garage and we needed heat to warm the garage. The heater took a couple hours to increase the garage temperature from the 30's and 40's to the 60's. Even though we did not have the low temperatures or snow we've had in the past couple years so that could get a stronger test we are still satisfied with the heater's ability to increase the garage's temperature. Awesome garage heater I recently built a new 400 sq.ft. well insulated Motorcycle work shop. Using a kerosene heater. Problem was no heat in the shop untill I fired it up. Then after it started warming up I had condensation problem on all the chrome and polished aluminum. I installed my new air g73, and problem solved. It's so nice keeping the shop at 45degrees and when I'm in it working, it only takes a short time to warm up comfortable. I like the comact size,up off the floor and mounted on the wall. Was easy to install.Havn't had it long enough to evaluate energy cost, but with the price of kerosene, I'm already very happy with it. January 18, 2012

Adding a Thermostat I recently ordered this heater but was installing it up high on a 12 foot wall making getting to the thermostat hard to say the least. I called customer service and they recommended getting a White Rodgers 1A66-641 tstat. Haven't received it yet, but it is good to know that you can install a tstat on this unit within easy reach. One thing to note is that when you add this external tstat, it will void your warranty. But from what I have read about this heater, I am not that concerned. Once it is installed, I will re-post. Heats Well but So-So Construction This heater is compact and does a good job. There isn't much to say about an electric heater since 100% of the energy turns into heat. I mounted it about 7' off the floor and the noise is acceptable. The thermostat turns the heater on and off. It hangs on the wall. Construction quality is only fair. Two of the five fan blades were bent forward and hitting the supports for the heating element. The fan would not turn until I disassembled enough of the unit that I could reach the fan blades and bend them back into position. Once I did that, the heater began working well. November 23, 2011

This product has all the features i was looking for. After many days of seardhing for a garage heater<i found my product. Itarrived on time and in excelent condition.
