When the dehumidifier is at capacity the window on the middle of the unit will show pink crystals which turn that color when wet to indicate that the EH-500F needs to be "renewed."   to Renew the unit simply unfold the electrical plug attached to the bottom the the unit and plug it in. It takes about 12-14 hours to fully renew a unit by heating and expanding the moisture crystals trapped inside and then the crystals in the window of the unit will turn a blue color indicating that it has finished and can be place back to where ever it was taken from.
