Description
Need an easy way to relieve the heat in a critical hot spot? The MovinCool CM12 Ceiling Mounted Air Conditioner is a perfect choice! This unit is engineered to save you Space, Time, and Cost: Saves Space: Mounts in the ceiling, eliminating the need for floorspace. Perfect for equipment rooms and small server or telecom closets. Saves Time: Designed for quick and easy installation with built-in flanges and mounting brackets. Simple to install with off-the-shelf mounting hardware. Saves Costs: Quick installation reduces labor costs and spot cooling is an energy efficient alternative to central air conditioning. For businesses that are dealing with ineffective cooling or bentilation in their server rooms, maintaining proper temperatures in those spaces can be an ongoing battle. The equipment housed in those types of spaces are critical to the function of the organization, and a malfunction can affect individuals and departments throughout the building and beyond. For many facilities, a cooling system overhaul is not possible without a major renovation, or it's simply not within the budget. As a solution to space challenged server or telecom rooms, MovinCool introduced the CM12, a ceiling mounted packaged air conditioner with a small footprint. Measuring 35" wide by 23" deep by 15 1/2" high (with mounting apparatus), this compact cooling unit weighs only 121 pounds. The compact and light characteristics of the CM12 enable it to be installed above a standard drop ceiling. It requires only off-the-shelf hardware for mounting (not included). If the room to be cooled does not have a drop ceiling, the CM12 features an optional air intake plenum and exhaust flange to address this installation need. With a cooling capacity of 10,500 BTU, the MovinCool CM12 is suitable for spaces up to approximately 450 square feet. It features an electronic thermostat control, and the unit can be managed by most thermostats on the market or it can be wired to work with a building control system. No special electrical connections are needed to operate the MovinCool CM12. With a voltage requirement of 115 and a recommended fuse size of 15 amps, this unit can be connected to the existing power supply. A variety of features makes it easier for facility managers to keep an eye on the CM12. For instance, warning signals and audible alarms for condensation overflow and unscheduled shutdown are built in and can be wired to a central location. A standard internal pump for condensation removal is included in the unit. The automatic shut off connections are compatible with most fire alarm control panels. With these safety and warning features the unit is able to shut itself off once notified by the alarm system in the event of a fire or other emergency. In addition to fire alarm ompatibility, the CM12 can be connected to a building control system so that facility managers can monitor its operation. With a maximum sound level of 52 decibels above a drop ceiling, the MovinCool CM12 will not distract occupants in areas near here the unit is installed.Specifications
