I found the product to be reliable for several years; used each winter in an unfinished basement. After the first one stopped working (the fan stopped engaging) I ordered a second. The same problem happened, both after several years usage. My third unit is working fine. I attempted to order a xmlnsnt fan motor for the disabled units but was told they were no longer available. Able to easily maintain a 68 degree temperature range. March 2, 2010
I use the product in my cement block milkhouse which I converted into a workshop after I sold my milking equipment. I was using an LP heater but it was very expensive and was getting old. It started leaking. So I replaced it with this unit. I use this new unit only when I am working in the workshop. It heats up the space which is 10 by 14 quite nicely without being dangerously hot near the unit. I would definitely buy this unit again. A lot of heat for the money. It is also portable as long as you have the correct voltage available. March 1, 2010
Does not run very quietly though. Thermostat works well on the unit. As long as the fan holds up I have no complaints. Have not received first electric bill yet but I don't think it uses much to heat up. December 7, 2009
