Perfect For A Cigar Humidor! Higly Recommended
I have had this unit for about month now and am using it as my Cigar Humidor. I have 7 Cheaphumidor trays in there fora ll my single cigars, I have about 3 lbs. of KL (Exquisicat) loaded in 4 different petsmart media bags (one on the bottom and top and 2 in between sitting on the back side of the shelves). This unit I keep at 66 at all times and my 2 Caliber III temp/hygros read it at 69 (so this unit runs about 3 degrees hotter and I have seen this stated in other reviews). 70 degrees and below is perfect for cigars (some like it lower and this unit will go a lot lower so it will fit any temp your desire you sticks to be cooled at). It is in my opinion the most attractive wine cooler on the market and has "The Best" price point of them with seemingly just as good build quality and construction. It is a fairly quite unit (imagine how loud a computer is and that's the Db of this unit) since its really only a PC fan running in the unit. You hear just a humm when its continuously running but not bad at all. If this is going to be stored in a "Very" quite room then you will hear it for sure though.
Overall I would recommend this to Anyone looking for a an awesome cooler at this price point and I have sold many online cigar smokers on this unit so far. And there are people who build custom drawers and shelves for this specific unit as well to store you cigar collection.
Whether you are using it for wine or cigars you wont be disappointed in this unit.

We bought two of the AW 280E to accommodate a growing collection of wine. They arrived on time, well packaged and in good shape.
They have been quietly running side by side now for a few weeks set at different temperatures. Both are showing little to no variance in the temperatures. The units look good, nice lighting, and fit in well sitting between our kitchen and family room.

Excellent inexpensive little cooler
This is an excellent wine cooler for the price. It is quiet and unobtrusive; great for smaller spaces (check the dimensions). It does seem to vary in temp a few degrees (+/- 3 or 4 deg); I am not sure if that is due to the smaller size or the type of cooling mechanism. (it sits next to my larger ones that do not show varying temps) Due to the temp variations I don't keep my better bottles in this cooler but it works great for shorter term storage of my everyday wines. Larger bottles are a little tight but they do fit if you mix it up with standard sizes. Also, be careful not to lean against the door...I hit the tem controls every time! Customer service was GREAT!

Nice for the price
Delivered in two days! Easy to get set up. Took about 24 hours to reach max. Temperature which says 54 on the door of the unit but in reality registers 59 on thermometer inside the cooler. Blue lighting is pretty cool and if you slide bottles in with the labels at 9 and 3 you won't scrape them on the metal shelves. Would probably look at a compressor driven unit for my next one. But this one will work for the price.

Great unit! (cigar humidor) & How to remove smell.
Like many, I use this as a cigar humidor. It easily fits 9 cigar trays plus. (Don't use all the wire racks and stack them. I'm using 3 lbs of ConservaGel beads...overkill but they're cheap!).
SMELL REMOVAL: To remove the smell try wiping down with a 50/50 mixture of distilled white vinegar and distilled water. Before that I tried a week long newspaper, baking soda, airing out, wiping down process and they all helped, but not perfectly. After the white vinegar, wipe down with distilled,let air out with baking soda over night and you should be good.

Love it
I could not resist buying this unit. The price is great. I did not need a dual zone wine cooler as I really just drink red. At first I was a little apprehensive about purchasing a Thermo-Electric unit, but it has been great. So far no problems. It is very quiet, and it looks great. The temperature is fairly accurate The Blue lighting is cool to look at.

Very Pleased and would purchase again
Compared to other same products, this item has it all.
Good looks, VERY quiet and does the trick for what I needed and expected.
We put in the the very same spot to replace a built in dishwasher and it fit with room to spare. Since it was in an island, my husband put in a vent in the back to allow more air circulation. It will run warm as it is not intended to be a built-in, but we noticed that when the external temp in the room is cooler the wine cooler maintains it's temp more consistently. Certainly to be expected since we live in south texas where it is very warm.
The cooler fit 28 bottles as indicated and I keep it full.
Just a suggestion to cool your bottles for 20-30 min in the fridge before loading up your cooler. ENJOY, I AM!!!
