I spent a fair amount of time and effort researching all the various products out there when I was deciding on a wine cooler for our home. My wife prefers white wines and I am more partial to the reds, so it was essential to find a quality product that had two separately-controlled thermostats for the two temperature zones. I was also hoping for a unit which was attractive and easy to operate.
I was thrilled when the NewAir AW-211ED wine cooler arrived and I unpacked it... the quality was immediately evident in the way the door opened, closed and sealed. The slides work flawlessly and the desired temperatures were very easy to set and monitor. The interior lights are a subtle blue hue and can be turned off if you choose. Over the past year I've just been getting into wine. Although I personally prefer whites myself, I do occasionally enjoy a nice Merlot and have a bunch of both reds and whites sitting in a mini fridge in my kitchen. Knowing that wine should be kept at specific temperatures, I decide to invest in a wine refrigerator. This NewAir model came at a great price point and looked great in the photos. Also, I liked the fact that it was a dual zone unit and stored 2 types of wine at once with 2 independently controlled zones. I've had this unit for a little over a year and am very satisfied. I'm even thinking of buying another for my boyfriend for Christmas!

This wine fridge makes our home look sleek and sexy and here's the best part - it works really well! We've tried other brands that were bulky and held the same amount of bottles and had the two temperatures but could not stay cool. This brand and model - totally on point. love Love it. One thing to improve on for future models - allow the way to pull out the wood racks - just a tad smoother. That's it. Keep the bottom open rack set up for bigger bottles or for those of us that have some ghetto-delicious box wines. Cheers.

I had purchased this wine cooler to replace a smaller 12 bottle one that I had. I have a few minor gripes about it. The wooden shelves bind when pulling out. The cooler makes quite a bit of fan noise after you restock or pull a bottle out until it returns to set temperature. Also anything bigger than standard wine bottles may give you a hard time to fit on the shelves. What I do like about this unit is its attractivness. It will add a touch of class to your dining room or wherever it is located. The warm interior lighting adds a nice touch. The temperature control is spot on.
I just wish I had purchased an even larger one now that I have this one stocked. I guess no matter what size wine cooler you get you will always find a way to fill it up. Air and water ships real fast and the way they package a shipment there is no way it will arrive damaged.

THis wine fridge works well, is attractive, and was easy to unpack and set-up. If you are a red wine drinker, then this is the one for you. THe split controls allow for 2 shelves at the top for white wine (it gets colder - down to 45?) while the bottom 5 shelves go down to 50?. Unfortunately, I like white wine and wanted to use the larger section for white wines, but the cooler does not go below 50? on the bottom 5 shelves. I did not see this or realize it in the advertising, which to me, is important. To most people, however, red is the favorite and will thus this would be a very good selection. I could have used a single temp. wine fridge since I like white wine the best. I was disappointed that the bottom would not go down below 50?.

This wine cooler arrived in very good condition. We are in the process of remodeling our kitchen, so I can't speak about the accuracy or longevity of this product at this time. Therefore I only rated the two areas as average. We will be using it in April when the project is finished. I will update the review at that time.
We did unpack it, check it out and plug it in. It seems to be working fine. It is very stylish & contemporary & perfect for our needs. There are two separate areas for setting different temperatures for white & red wines. These have separate controls & they are divided into 2 compartments. The compartments do not communicate with each other so there should be accurate readings in each.

After a lot of research on wine coolers, I came down to two units. I purchased this unit for the looks, other reviews, and customer service in case I needed any help. I have had the unit a couple of weeks now and it works as advertised. Top and bottom temps are spot on. Recovery is pretty quick if you have the door open for any extended period. Once the cooler reach its temp it runs quietly. Had to put a fan facing the control panel in the back while it reached the set temp due to it feeling hot to touch. Now it appears to run efficiently and doesn't feel hot. Attractive design and wooden removable racks allow for flexability of different size bottles. Would buy again.

Our problem with wine coolers in the past is that they stop working after a short time. We have only had the A&W cooler for a month, but so far it has worked perfectly and kept the temperature very consistent, even over these very hot summer months. We've had the wine refrigerator a few weeks and it has worked well. The setup was easy and the temperature hasn't varied since it was initially turned on. I agree with some other comments that all bottles don't fit, but this is a great storage unit that is no larger than a typical kitchen waste can. And it's reasonably quiet too. It's so nice to have your wine at the correct temperature when you choose to open a bottle - instead of trying to chill it quickly and/or waiting to enjoy a glass. The customer service was excellent and we are very pleased with it. But if you like wine - buy something that will accommodate twice as many bottles because you will fill it up!

This particular model fit our needs perfectly. The dual control works great. The white and reds are a perfect temperature. The tall style makes it more convenient to fit in a tight spot. I am very pleased with the look and performance of my wine cooler. Delivery was prompt, even this close to Christmas. Temperature is right on. My only complaint is that most white wine bottles do not fit. Also, some Pinot bottles don't fit either. The unit is not deep enough. It appears that most coolers are a little short in depth. A couple more inches would make all the difference.

Set up was so simple, untie some twisties and 2 screws to install handle. Runs quiet. Been up and running two weeks, no problems or complaints. Have top and bottom running at different temps and seems to be holding quite nicely. LEDS are a little bright, acts as nightlight. You can definately read them. Racks are a little flimsey but they just have to hold bottles. Like this cooler.

Overall, I think this is a great little wine refrigerator for newbie wine lovers that don't have a lot of money to spend. The dual temperature zones work well, the piece is designed nicely with a sleek metallic finish and a lovely blue interior glow. My only major complaint with the fridge is that the rack spacing does not allow for either champagne bottles (a height issue) or riesling bottles (a depth issue). Though I realize right now the product maximizes capacity by doing this, it would be better suited to remove one row of storage and increase spacing between rows to allow for champagne bottles. Increasing the depth of the machine just an inch or so would then also allow for riesling bottles. Otherwise, a good value for those just starting out and looking for their first wine fridge.
