I am very pleased with the results. My hair is softer and combs out more easily. I use less soap and shampoo too.

My husband installed these filters on both of our showers (easy installation, by the way). It does appear in the month of use we've had them that the film on the shower is reduced and our skin is less dry than before. Obviously, there wasn't an overnight change in our skin; but we seem to finally be beyond the scaly skin we battled all summer and the air is only getting drier with the colder air this time of year, so I credit the shower filter (and bedroom humidifiers).
The only negative is that one of our showers is particularly small and this filter elongates the shower head neck, which then limits the 'spray zone' in the shower from the shower head. Not a deal breaker, but something to consider.
