Description
Alen AMS09 with 9,000 BTUs of cooling power. This split air conditioner is highly energy efficient and is rated to 14.5 SEER. This means that per BTU of of cooling power created, less wattage is required to run the Spit AC unit. The fact that the AMSS09 is a split air conditioning unit means that you have a low cost alternative to a central air system and on the other side also have an quieter alternative to a window or portable AC. The indoor unit of the AMS09 does not take up any floor space, rather it is mounted on the wall.
In addition to cooling the air this unit improves the air further by acting as a dehumidifier and removes 70 pints of water a day. No need to empty buckets of water this unit will move the collected water to the external unit by itself.
Alen designed the AMS09 air handler to be and attractive unit that is mounted on the inside wall where the refrigerant and condensate lines run. Only a small hole is needed for the pipes, and since the compressor (like a central AC) is located outside the house this means that it's quiet on the inside.
