Amcor's new ALTL12000EH is a portable air conditioner, dehumidifier and fan all in one. With 12,000 BTUs of cooling power and an Energy Efficiency Rating (EER) of 12.63 the ALTL12000EH will keep you nice 'n' cool without burning a hole in your pocket book. Featuring Self Evaporating Technology, the ALTL12000EH Portable Air Conditioner is easy to maintain. Self Evaporating Technology means that you hardly ever have to empty the internal water reservoir! During the cooling process, water is extracted from the air into the ALTL12000EH. Most of this water is then recycled and used to cool the ALTL12000EH and make it run more efficiently. Approximately 65 to 70% of water condensed is evaporated out with the exhaust air.Included with the ALTL12000E is a window exhaust kit. The ALTL12000E and all other portable AC units must be vented via the included exhaust hose.
