Self Evaporating Technology: Most of the water taken out of the air during the cooling process is used to cool the unit and make it run more efficiently, than it is evaporated out with the exhaust air. This makes emptying the built-in water tank a less common task.
No Permanent Installation: Unlike central air conditioning, portable air conditioners do not need to be permanently installed. The included window and wall kit with exhaust hose is all that is needed to properly vent the unit.
Clean Air: Odors are removed from the air by the activated carbon filter. A washable air filter prevents the build-up of bacteria and collects large dust particles.

Easy clean washable heavy duty particle filter and replaceable odor absorbent activated carbon filter are featured in the ALD-12000E and ALD-12000M Portable Air Conditioners by Amcor. Activated carbon is used in metal extraction (e.g. gold), water purification, medicine, wastewater treatment, filters in gas and filter masks, filters in compressed air and gas purification, and many other applications.
