The Amcor ALD12000M 12000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner combines all these benefits with a powerful dehumidifying capacity as well.

Moisture Removal: As well as cooling rooms up to 400 square feet in size, the ALD12000M can pull up to 65 pints of moisture out of the air every day.

Self Evaporating Technology: Most of the water taken out of the air during the cooling process is used to cool the unit and make it run more efficiently, than it is evaporated out with the exhaust air. This makes emptying the built-in water tank a less common task.

No Permanent Installation: Unlike central air conditioning, portable air conditioners do not need to be permanently installed. The included window and wall kit with exhaust hose is all that is needed to properly vent the unit.

Clean Air: Odors are removed from the air by the activated carbon filter. A washable air filter prevents the build-up of bacteria and collects large dust particles.

I absolutely love the Amcor NanoMist because of the NanoMist technology. I'm Operations Manager of serveral properties and have this type of portable a/c unit at three of them. It saves maintenance a lot of time if they don't have to dump the resevoir enabling them to deal with more important issues. The product works very well. I have purchased these in the past and like everything about them. I have seen some gray or silver ones and wasn't crazy about the color. I have recommended this product to an actual air conditioning company for some of their clients that are unable to have central air or want to pay for a mini-split.
