This Portable Ice Maker is FANTASTIC! We travel a lot in our motor home and many times we are not in a location that we can just go out and buy some ice, so this unit was the answer to our problem! We can plug it into 110v (or our inverter), add water and in 9 minutes (yes, I timed it!) we had 10 ice cubes, in another 9 minutes, 10 more ice cubes, and on and on! It was amazing! The unit is a 'no brainer', there are lights on the front that tells you when to add water, when the ice tray is full, what size ice cubes you want (you have a choice of small, medium or large. I chose medium, perfect size for me). If you do nothing to the ice, it slowly melts and then recycles the water to make fresh ice cubes, or you can scoop it out and put it in your freezer to 'stock up' and use later. The ice maker is small enough to fit comfortably in our storage compartment. It's lightweight enough for me to handle with ease. Our friend recommended this unit to us and we would highly recommend this unit to others..! As far as the noise that some folks have mentioned, well it's a compressor unit freezing water, there is a little noise to it, but no more than what your home refrigerator would sound like, actually less, and then we hear the sound of those cute little ice cubes dropping in the bin, that's just exciting not annoying..! Love it! Love it!

Very attractive machine
I received this ice maker as a gift. We live in a loft with very little space for "extras". It's attractive and fits compactly next to the wine cooler. It worked beautifully right from the get go and makes lots of ice. It's quiet and requires little maintenance. Not too heavy to lift for draining. With the holidays coming up we look forward to having our "own" ice and not having to buy bags to store in the cooler. All in all, very satifsfied with this little machine.

very compact
this is my 2nd ice machine. The first one cost twice as much. It was very loud, very noisy and died after 3 years. I like the size of this machine much better. It does take longer to make a large amount of cubes and the cubes are very wet when they first come out. However, the size and quietness make up for it. I would buy again and recommend to a friend.

Very compact for doing such a big job.
The product was delivered 4 days after I ordered it. It's just a little bit bigger than my bread machine! It works excellent. One day we made 19 lbs of ice. It does everything it is advertised to do and I would recommend it to anyone who is thinking about purchasing one. My husband takes ice with him everytime he goes fishing so I thought this would be a great gift and eliminate all those ice cube trays! Thanks again for a great product.

Love the ice maker!
Air and Water shipped the ice maker right away with no hassles! It works great. The ice is the perfect size and I was amazed at how quick it pumps out a lot of ice - well worth the money!
