I purchased it for an upstairs bedroom, which, of course, gets most of the heated air from the first floor. We live in a humid climate, and even with excellent A/C, it feels more humid up there. I was right. We plugged in the de-humidifier the first day it came and in 5 days, the tank was full and it shut itself off. What a delight!!! I have house guests coming next week for 17 days and I know they will feel the difference from the last time they were here. It was much smaller than I had envisioned, which was good, because it takes up so little space. Also, the size makes it very portable and will work in the car, if ever needed. I definitely would recommend it!!! It was fairly inexpensive for the quality of the item, small and portable, fairly silent for sleepers - though it could be turned off during the night. It fits all my requirements. Thank you for a fine product.

Perfect for the WashRoom
I live in Quebec, Canada and its now almost Winter Time, I can't open the bathroom window because it gets way too cold and I do not have a celling fan.
I didn't want to use a huge Dehumidifier, my washroom is way too small, so I decided to purchase the NewAir ADS-300 Mini Dehumidifier. I'm very happy with my choice and decision.
exemple : after a 15 minutes shower, my celling was starting to drop water. NOW that I use the Dehumidifier I barely get fog in the mirror ! it makes a HUGE difference.

Great product. Power pack/cord issues
This was my 3rd purchase of the ADS 300 in the last 4 yrs or so. My last one lasted barely a year.
It is relatively cheap and I run it 24/7 in a 20 x 20 room w/ collectible posters so I can kind of live with that.
With getting my recent one I unplugged the "defective" unit and just plugged my new one it. It didn't work.
I realized that the power cord was the issue on the other once the new cord had both working fine.
Keep an eye out for that issue.
I now have 2 working ADS 300's, but only 1 power cord.
Overall satisfied with this product.

OUTSTANDING
This is a very good product and i recommend it very highly, i use it in my car and it is great for cigar lovers, it came right on time and in great shape thanks again for your wonderful product.

works good
I used it in a small slide in camper with no a/c while the air temp was cool enough there was a lot of humidity and fog on the lake.The dehumidifier extracted a lot of moisture out of the air and kept the camper comfortable at night.Did all I expected of it

This little gem worked steadily for 14 months with no hickups. It finally stopped working when the power cube died. By then the fan had become noisy. So, we replaced the whole unit and have good performance again. That's low cost of ownership for us.

I am extremely happy with my mini Dehumidifier. In the first hour of it being used I was collecting a lot of water. It is so quiet that you can be in the same room with it and not hear it working. I live in a basement apartment and I move it from room to room getting rid of excess water. I am now using it to get rid of water smells in my bathroom cupboard. Terrific. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a little extra help to get rid of mildew and smells.
