I did not get this unit set up for a couple of weeks after receipt. I cannot find the internal water container either in the book or upon examination in order to empty. It really doesn't matter because after the 2nd flooding, I bought tubing and ran that into a bucket. I'm emptying several gallons of water twice a day on humid days, else the floor gets flooded. I raised the unit about a foot so the water would run through the overflow tubing. It's really a baby sit operation. I can't seem to get the temp low enough to tell if the thermostat will cut on or off, it seems to run constantly. I haven't tried the heat settings yet. The window shield that holds the exhaust duct does not set securely in the window. Actually the two parts only touch - they do not lock together. This piece I found on the floor yesterday (blown down from wind) along with the overflow of water, again. Overall satisfaction - so-so.

I have had the unit for about 8 months and I use it every day in the upstairs of my house. It heats or cools 2 bedrooms and a bathroom(about 400 sq ft) perfectly, the temp. got down in the single digits this winter and last summer we were using it in 90 degree temps., and we leave the setting on the lowest fan speed. My only complaint about it is the size isn't really easy to work around... it has to be left out so far from the wall on three sides, and the other side is the front were the air blows out. Overall a very good unit, I am very pleased with it.
