At last I had a room full of friends (mostly relatives), and turned my new air conditioner on for the first time. What a pleasure to hear it almost purr. It is surprisingly quiet for its size. In Portland we have been experiencing a really cool spring, and of course when it finally gets hot here it is unrelenting in my flat roofed apartment without benefit of trees.
So for once I am looking forward to summer for the first time in 77 years. It was also the first time I ordered an item online. Easily installed too. Thanks, Air & Water!

I was able to test it out right away since the installation was so quick and easy to do. In fact, I had to resize the window port which was a breeze to make an exact fit. The cooling is pretty powerful but I await summer to fully test it here in the pacific north west. It certainly is an attractive product and the convenience of the remote makes it so practical. I especially like the ability to adjust the air flow to exactly where I want it. It is surprisingly quiet in operation. I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase.

I am very disappointed in this product, because it is leaking water all over the floor, The water seems to be coming from the sides where the vents. I thought that this would be the perfect air conditioner since am in a wheelchair.

The delivery arrived the very next day which was very nice. The a/c cools the room without much noise and minimum water in the catch tray.

We are enjoying both of the units. They serve us very well. I think that I would like the control for the 1400E to be like the 1000E. On the 1000E it has a display, but other than that we enjoy them.
