My daughter inherited her grandmother's 100 year old house and when I came to visit I noticed the shower was down to a trickle. She told me it was because the pipes were old and corroded. Well! I was replacing same product bought several years ago, which still worked but could not adjust the height or the shower head as the thread seemed to have gone, and it just drooped to its lowest setting. The reason for buying the original shower head is for the filter, to filter out the chlorine and minerals from the water supply, making a much softer and healthier shower. It's working perfectly, so far! I liked the original model and still had a new filter not used, so I stayed with the xmlnsnt model and have been perfectly happy with it. October 21, 2009
