I bought two fans, one for the living room and one for the bedroom. They are very powerful. Maybe too much for night time use in he bedroom. Since the remote does not really work that well I am disappointed that I will be unable to turn the fan on and off during the night without fully waking up.

The fan arrived quickly and it was just what I ordered. The plastic base seems a bit lite but the fan is suprisingly powerful, quieter than expected and it works fine. Set up took about 4 minutes.

Even with central air, this fan has been a lifesaver during the unprecedented heat we've been having here in Texas this summer. The circulation this fan provides allows us to set the thermostat several degrees higher, keeping our bill lower and reducing the strain on the grid.
Also impressed with the fans features; 5-blades instead if 3, adjustments for height and tilt, and even a remote control.
Now if it could just make it rain.......
