I purchased this product because I bought an inexpensive industrial ceiling fan from another company and within a week after installation, it would overheat and no longer work. Since I hadn't installed it for a while after receiving it, the warranty was no longer valid. When I first received the product, I found that the fan was not only packed nicely, but the fan itself was of higher quality than my previous fan. I was surprised that it was all metal with no major plastic parts. So far, this industrial ceiling fan is working great and it puts out much more air than the previous fan. It is also quieter. I would recommend this product to others. It is a great inexpensive, quality fan that I am using on a porch. It is exactly what I was looking for.
