The blade design shown on the website does not match the product I received. And it is unacceptably noisy. It is at least 5 times as noisy as the old fan I am replacing which is essentially the same model from a few years ago. My old fan has the blade design show on the website. So I have fixed my new fan by using the old blades. But if you don't have the old blade design to replace the new one don't think of buying this product unless you will be at least two rooms away from it. I could not stand to be in the same room with it even on the low setting.

I use this fan usually in the cool of the evening since I keep my AC at 80 while I'm working and, for the price, you can't go wrong. Now, if you're looking for a big fan with metal blades, then, you won't find that in this unit, but if you want something inexpensive, well? Then this machine is the bomb! I would definitely recommend this.

This is a powerful fan, I do wish it had metal blades, but we use it in our shop to draw cool air from the office area, so for that use, it's the bomb! Air and water is an awesome company we also have 2 Dayton u37 shop heaters and, they too are absolutely the best!

It's the best box fan I could find. I like the grounded plug. I hope they bring a Lakewood box fan model back, with a strong motor and metal blades. My model has the pointed blades which is different than in the photo.

This fan is wide enough to sit on its own. It has a powerful motor. I was disappointed that the manufacturer has changed the fan blades from a 5 rounded paddle design to the 5 star design. The product does not look like the one on pictured on the box it came in. It's probably the best and most powerful box fan available today. Sadly it is not as good as the Lasko box fan I bought back in 1992.

I use box fan because it fits nice in a window I have to draw the outside morning coolness. Even though it moves a lot of air, I thought it would move much more for being designated as a "Commercial" fan. I'd have to say that the cheaper hardware store fans perform about 70% of what this does. There is nothing scientific about that statement, other than my best objective evaluation. Overall I'd rate it ok+. Thank you.
