Motor Build
The 9518's motor is permanently lubricated and permanently split capacitor along with a 9', 3-conductor type SJT power cord. The motor runs at 1/6 HP and 120 volts.

Does what it was made to do, move air. I just want to say that Air & Wate did a great job with a problem I had with the 1st fan I received. It was out of balance and vibrated. I purchased the fan to put in a home gym. It's a good sized room (about 16x20)and I wanted a fan powerful enough to cool the room at a low speed. This is a great fan for this purpose (in fact it's probably more fan than I needed. My only complaints are that it's a little noisier than I expected and when wall mounted it only tilts up and down. You can't adjust it from side to side. So you have to have it mounted in exactly the direction you'd like the air to blow. Fortunately the fan is powerful enough to move the air indirectly around the room, but beware: if you need the fan to blow in a certain lateral direction, this one is not adjustable. May 24, 2011
The air king I purchased is located in a locker room, and moves the air great. It keeps the air moving in the entire area about 400 sqft. It came with a handy wall bracket that made it very easy to install. The order was very easy and came in as expected. January 11, 2011

Love the fan that I ordered. Air & Water Inc. pulled all the stops out on this product. This fan was very affordable and has many extras, pulled chain to adjust 3 speeds, ceiling mount that is extremely durable, and once the fan is mounted it can be rotated from left to right meaning it does not have to stay in one position. Also the coating over the fan is of great quality and the extension cord is a very good length. August 18, 2010

I have a room for my cats and a room for my dogs - I mounted 2 fans in the dog room and 1 fan in the cat room. They put out a sufficient amount of air but are pretty noisy. I am not very happy with the distances that you can turn the fans once they are mounted. August 8, 2010
