"I chose the 9214 to replace a fan that locked up. The fan's purpose is to move air around the house off of a wood burning stove. I chose this particular fan because it used ball bearings and was a small profile high output fan. The fan is much quieter than the previous fan I had, and was about $65 dollars less. In fact it is quieter than the fans that are in the wood burning stove. Initial impression was very positive. The fan's profile was smaller than I expected and that was a positive for me. The color being all black was another positive.
Lastly, the power cord was heavy duty and longer than what comes with other fan purchases. That alone gave me the feeling the manufacturer did not scrimp to cut every corner on their product. I would recommend this fan. I have only had the fan for running for a few weeks now, but it works great and is quiet."
