Assembly wow what a breeze all puns intended. Works so far like a charm, moves a great amount of air and it is as quite as a midnight breeze through summer trees. Hot flashes jump back you have meet your match.

After reading multiple reviews from many sites this was the fan I decided to go with and I am so happy I did. The reviews were dead on and I could not have found a better fan. The excellent communication from the seller and speedy delivery!

Great product - buy it.
Background:
I did a lot of research before I bought this fan.
Most room fans at this price feature 3 blades, this fan has 5 blades. Being familiar with aerodynamics, the more blades a propeller (or fan) has the smoother its air flow. A 3 bladed fan separates air into 3 pulses or waves per revolution whereas a 5 bladed fan, given the same pitch and rotation speed produces 5 pulses per revolution. This Air-King 9119, 5 bladed fan produced a smooth air flow at all speeds.

The product was easy to put together (about 10 mins.)
The volume of air the fan produced at the high setting was great enough to provide a good breeze in a school class room sized 35ft. x 38ft. It was a very hot September!
Smooth air flow at all speed settings.
A small noise:
Testing at home: When I first turned on the fan I heard a very slight whistling sound that came from the fan blade cutting thru the air. The sound was slight, but as the fan speed was increased so did the sound level.
I found the very tips of the fan blades were the cause. Close inspection of the plastic blade tips revealed that small, (I mean the thickness of razor blade - small) pieces of plastic on the blade edges (probably from the molding process) projected into the air stream. Thus as the blade turned the edges produced a slight whistling sound.
Fix: Remove sharp edges from front an rear of fan blades.
1. Unplug the fan motor First - and Always !
2. Remove the fan blade guard.
3. Take the fan blade off the motor shaft.
Use a small nail file (or very fine emery paper) to smooth out the sharp edges on the front and back (leading and trailing - edges) of the blades start at the end (tip) and go down the blade to just 2 1/2 inches. Only smooth the edges!
You don't have to file a lot, just slightly smooth them.
Replace the fan blade, fan guard, plug motor back in.
It was unplugged Right!
After I did this easy procedure the fan was very quite.
Note: The noise I experienced was very slight.
The noise I heard may have been only on my fan.
I cured my noise problem in about 5 mins.
It took me longer to write this whole review than to smooth the fan blades. I'm very exacting person.
This fan works great and was bought at a great price.

I bought the fan for my living room as because of cabinetry, only the upper half of my double hung window opens. It is reasonably quiet on medium and, I think as it is off white and gray, looks much better than an all metal would. The large pedestal makes it stable. It also rotates, and has a reasonably long cord .Does what a fan should.

I have owned many fans from local stores and I haven't purchased any that are comparable to the Air King. The Air King is a quality product. It is very sturdy/heavy base and relatively easy to assemble. It is quiet. Speeds one, two are about normal. When you go to the third speed, you really get to see the selling point. It is very powerful. I was curious, when I first viewed it. I foresee it being in my home for years. I believe, in the near future, I will get one for my Mother. I am very pleased.

My Air King saves me money on my electric bill. I now use my window air condition much less and I notice the savings on my electric bill. Less energy used benefits everyone. Do your self a favor and buy an Air King. You will be glad you did.
