The product is good because It is I want, something that I can place on the wall and at the same time has rotatory movement, however There is something that bother me. It is that need more power the fan in order to make more air. Maybe I need something bigger. May 25, 2011
Was worried that 12" wouldn't be enough to cool 10 x 6 vanity area of bathroom but it works great (it's hot in there due to no window, the lights and hair dryer). The fan is just what I needed! It's a little noisy on high (as all fans are) but on lower settings noise is NOT a problem and med. and low are plenty to do my cooling. It's easy to install, quality made and the pull cord is easy to use. We installed it over a door and it worked out without obstructions. Do it!! April 7, 2011
The Air King 9012 Wall Mounted Fan arrived very quickly, the box was in good shape, the fan had not been damaged during shipment. Unfortunately, one of the wires connecting the switch to the motor had not been hooked up - it had not shaken loose during shipment. Easily fixed - as long as you aren't afraid to open the housing and have a look. The fan mounted to the wall very easily, it works exactly as hoped. We use it with a soapstone wood stove, to move heat from the wood stove throughout the house. It is very much quieter than a fan mounted to the stove, and allows us to move air in different directions. We will use it during the summer to help circulate cool air. We are very pleased with the fan, and consider the wire incident just an accident - overall the quality of the fan is excellent. April 9, 2010
The fan seems to be quite load while operating. It almost seems as if it is out of balance and like the bearing is maybe already on its way out. (1.5 months use) Also the 3-way variable speed seems to hardly have a difference in speeds. I would have thought the low to be much lower and so forth. March 22, 2010
