AllerAir 3-A6FCW630 Replacement 3-Inch Carbon Filter - 6000 Series DS / AirMedic Pro 6 DS

AllerAir not only produces some of the best air purifiers available on the market today, they also keep their products in fine working condition with a great line of replacement parts and accessories. Air purifiers work long and hard to keep the air you are breathing fresh and clean through the use of various filters and high tech parts. Eventually, these necessary air purifier components become too dirty to function properly, resulting in your AllerAir 6000 series or AirMedic Pro 6 models not being able to produce pristine quality air for your home, business, or medical facility.

Extend Your Air Purifier's Life

With the case of AllerAir carbon filters, it is recommended that they be changed after every 2 years or sooner, depending on how much activity the air purifier is having. Heavy use in areas that require extreme air filtration will cause the carbon filter to soil much more rapidly than when the air purifier is rarely being used or being used in a location that does very little air filtration. Since these 3 inch carbon filters are also being used in conjunction with other filters in a specially designed air purification system by AllerAir, it is important that all parts be in good operating condition or the other components may become damaged or function inefficiently.

High Quality and Dependable Carbon Filters

The 3-A6FCW630 3 inch activated carbon filter is thoroughly tested to meet AllerAir's high product quality standards. These filters are a half-inch longer than AllerAir's standard size carbon filter with 3,500 acres of carbon media surface area to provide deeper adsorption and filtration power. They also contain 28 pounds of AllerAir's specially blended Vocarb carbon that boosts your air purifier's filtration performance by being more aggressive than standard carbon filters in removing hard-to-trap airborne chemicals, gases, and odors.

It does a great job of neutralizing and removing harmful VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) from the air like formaldehyde, from paints and adhesives, and benzene, a known carcinogen found in tobacco smoke. VOCs and other airborne chemicals and gases can produce unbearable odors that you will want removed. Prolonged exposure to VOCs will also increase health risks that can be prevented with a well maintained and efficiently operating air purifier.
