The first two I received had the heating element cover jammed 3 inches under the electrical connection cover, the heating element mounts were bent and loose, and several heat element fins were bent and lose so I sent them back. Air and Water was very responsive and sent me a xmlnsnt before receiving the damaged units so they rate 5 stars. The xmlnsnts came in almost the same condition so I think the factory QC is responsible not the shipper. I needed to install the units right away so I straightened the bent sheet metal and installed them. Coupled with a Honeywell programmable line voltage thermostat they do a good job of heating and then holding the heat constant. There are a couple annoyances I am still evaluating. One heater makes a humming noise like a refrigerator running. The other makes a clicking noise. The latter is something the promotional material says they don't do. So to sum up they heat and are cheap. I have not tried the other brands but these "made in USA" (South Carolina) are not a very good testimonial of American quality.
