I had high hopes this fan would pull the stuffy air out of my 60 foot mobile home. I put it in the back window but it did not seem to be drawing out the hot air. It is very powerful and would blow me over had I put it to blow in.
I've moved it to a window in the front and am still experimenting with which windows to close and which to leave open to get the greatest pull. Still, it only pulls down the inside temp to 14 degrees from the outside.
Perhaps I'm just asking for something this fan isn't meant to do.
Also, having it in the bedroom was too noisy on high.

the fan really is powerful....it might suck you out w/ the musty odors......which is good....I have enough smaller fans that cant do the job as well...that is why I like this fan not only powerful but also sucks little juice.....But I would have liked it to be a little more user- friendly when it comes to the knob that is hard to turn and short so kind of hard to grasp [ espec. if you got arthritis ] Also like almost every appliance out there you got to bend over backwards to find watts used and model #. These are things that should be made known readily. I suggest they apply a big sticker right in the middle of the fan where it cant be missed....and be not so sticky that you need googone to remove the glue's resedue

This fan is super powerful. It sucks every bit of air out of my work area. However, it doesn't seem to fit my window as well as I would have liked. The description indicated that it would fit my window size, but half-moon gaps are left on either side after the panels were extended. I had to stuff some foam in these and when I use it I put a towel at the top so that no cold air comes in when I'm using the exhaust. I installed it as close as possible to the window, but it still left a large gap which let in cold air.
Overall I'd still recommend it as its super powerful and serves its purpose well.
