Standard window fans aren't always able to send air in the right direction so this Air Director features a pivot function that gets the air to the location it's needed most. This window fan also operates like a powerful floor fan, offering you the flexibility to cool spaces in the most appropriate way. For your safety, the 2135 window/floor fan has been ETL/cETL listed which means it meets the minimum requirements of prescribed product safety standards and the production site conforms to a range of compliance measures.

We are pleased with the results. Our upstairs windows are very narrow and finding a window fan with a suitable width was a challenge. This fan met the challenge very well, however, I neglected to check the height. I had to tweek the window a bit to make the fan fit properly. Because of this, I rated the fan as "average to install". I purchased two of these fans because two of the three windows in the attic of my home are very narrow; and I didn't want to cut a new opening for a real attic fan. I use the Lasko 2135 fans in the two narrow windows with one Air King 9155 in the wider window to do the same job an attic fan would. The two Laskos on low speed are noisier than the one Air King 9155 is on high. The Lasko 2135 moves a good amount of air, and is one of the few options for narrow windows. So it serves the purpose for which I bought it. But it is definitely NOT quiet. I don't think I could sleep with one of the Lasko fans in the same room with me. June 2, 2011
I have a fan that my son used for his room all summer long and loved it. I bought this as a xmlnsnt since they no longer make the one that he had. We are not using it as it is way too noisy for his room and he would rather not. Unfortunately it will probably sit and collect dust and never get used. I am now on the search for another xmlnsnt fan that is MUCH quieter but it's hard to find that on the internet without seeing and hearing the product in person. September 8, 2010
