The hottest commodity for 2012 home appliances are the sleek modern looking designs. But who can blame them, they look amazing and make you feel like you are up-to-date with these innovations.

We wanted to look into some of these smart and space-saving appliances but one appliance that stuck out and has been the talk of the town lately are the… Microwave Drawers.

For the longest time, microwaves have either taken a huge chunk of space on a counter or floated above your head over the stove.

The worst part of having the microwaves above your stove is having to reach for hot steaming food right above your head, and being a shorter house-wife doesn’t seem to make the situation any easier, even with a step stool.

But what’s really great about this new drawer design is that it makes it so easy to lift the hot food out safely and even reaching in to stir the food without having to pull it out onto the counter time and time again.
